About Mara
Mara runs the editorial desk at AI Girlfriend Game Hub and tests every app before it can appear in a ranking. She cares less about a charming first reply than about what a character is like after a week: whether it remembers the name of a pet mentioned on day two, keeps its personality when the conversation turns, and still feels worth opening once the novelty fades.
Before adult AI she spent close to a decade reviewing mobile games and subscription apps, where she learned to look for the moment a free tier stops being free. That habit carries over: her reviews note when the paywall arrives, what the tokens or credits actually buy, and how hard it is to cancel.
She keeps a fixed set of roleplay scripts (a slow-burn romance, a playful flirt, a dominant persona, a long memory check) and runs each one on every app in the same order. Scores go on a separate sheet per app before any comparison, and the order of a ranking follows those sheets.

One script set for every app
Eight fixed roleplay scripts, from a slow-burn romance to a dominant persona, run in the same order on each app so the comparison is like for like.

Free account first, then paid
Each app starts on a fresh free account to find where the limits really sit, then moves to a paid plan to judge what the upgrade adds.

Seven-day memory check
The same character is revisited over at least a week. Names, preferences and running jokes from early chats have to come back without being repeated.

Personality under pressure
Mid-conversation she changes the mood or contradicts the character to see whether it holds its voice or drifts into generic replies.

Credits and cancellation
Token and credit costs are tracked during normal use, and the cancel flow is tried on a real subscription before an app is recommended.

Scores before comparison
Every app is scored on its own sheet first. Side-by-side comparison only happens after, and the ranking order comes from those scores.
